Are you passionate about shaping the future of education and supporting young people to thrive? Snowfields Academy is embarking on an exciting new chapter as we open our brand-new Minster Campus in September 2025, and we’re looking for a dynamic our innovative team.

As we grow, this is your chance to play a pivotal role in developing and embedding the Behaviour Policy for a brand-new campus. If you’re ready to make a lasting impact, this is the opportunity you’ve been waiting for!

As the Behaviour Lead Teacher, you’ll have whole-campus responsibility for managing behaviour strategies, ensuring all students are supported to overcome barriers to learning. Your key responsibilities will include:

Developing and reviewing the Behaviour Policy for the Minster Campus, ensuring it’s inclusive, clear, and effective.
Implementing and embedding strategies that reduce stress, anxiety, and behavioural barriers to learning.
Monitoring and problem-solving behaviour triggers, identifying effective interventions for individuals and groups.
Collaborating with stakeholders, including class teams, families, and the wider community, to provide holistic support for students with varying needs.
Providing guidance and training for staff on behaviour management techniques and best practices.
Engaging with families, through home visits, coffee mornings, and as part of the school’s inclusion and pastoral teams.

A strong understanding of behaviour management strategies and their application in school settings.
Proven ability to build positive relationships with students, families, and staff, fostering a supportive, inclusive environment.
Experience working with students facing behavioural or anxiety challenges, with a commitment to promoting their well-being and helping them reach their full potential.
This is a permanent, full time position, offering MPS/UPS based on experience + TLR2B + SEN1 Allowance.
