Are you passionate about shaping the early learning experiences of young children? Are you ready to be part of an exciting new chapter in Early Years education? If so, we want to hear from you!

Leigh Academy High Halstow is delighted to announce the opening of our brand new High Halstow Hatchlings Nursery in September 2025, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery/Reception Teacher to join our team. This is an incredible opportunity to help build and shape the future of our nursery, delivering high-quality education to our youngest learners.

  Why Join Us?
At Leigh Academy High Halstow, we were judged Outstanding in all areas, including Early Years, during our last Ofsted inspection. We are incredibly proud of this achievement and are excited to extend our exceptional standard of education to our youngest learners. We’re committed to giving them a strong foundation for their future learning at the academy.

The existing building is being redesigned to create a bright, vibrant, and stimulating learning environment. Our new nursery will feature modernised facilities and high-quality resources, ensuring that our youngest learners have access to the same excellent standards as the rest of the academy.

We’re ideally looking for a Nursery Teacher to join our team, but we are also open to applications from those with Reception experience as we are flexible with staffing across both the nursery and Reception classes.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a passion for Early Years education and is dedicated to providing a nurturing, inspiring learning environment.
Will contribute to the development of our new nursery, shaping the curriculum and creating engaging learning experiences.
Can work collaboratively with the Early Years team to ensure a smooth transition for children from nursery to Reception.
Will support and enhance the strong foundation we’ve already built at Leigh Academy High Halstow.
If you’re ready to make a difference in the lives of our youngest learners and help build a foundation for their future, we’d love to hear from you!

This is a permanent position offering MPS/UPS commensurate with experience.
