The Role

As a Teacher of English, you will:

Deliver engaging and innovative lessons to KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
Foster a love of reading and effective communication
Support students of all abilities to achieve their full potential
Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking English department
We Are Looking For

A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong academic background in English
A passion for teaching and making a real difference in students’ lives
Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
A commitment to inclusive education and high expectations for all learners

Note: Whilst the position is offered on a maternity cover basis initially of up to one year, every effort will be made to offer a substantive position thereafter, either at Leigh Academy Tonbridge or within the wider family of academies across Leigh Academies Trust.
