Job Summary: Kent and Medway Training (KMT) is seeking a proactive and dynamic Recruitment Coordinator.

Are you passionate about helping shape the future of education? Kent and Medway Training (KMT), one of the largest providers of Initial Teacher Education in the South East, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Recruitment Coordinator to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the recruitment of trainee teachers and apprentices, playing a pivotal role in their journey to becoming educational professionals.

As the Recruitment Coordinator, you will be a key point of contact for candidates, supporting them throughout the recruitment process from initial enquiries to on-boarding. You’ll work across the full recruitment cycle, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience that’s efficient, professional, and supportive.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the end-to-end recruitment process, including marketing vacancies, pre-screening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
  • Supporting our recruitment events and helping us find and attract high-calibre candidates across various platforms.
  • Working closely with the Head of Recruitment and Marketing, you’ll create engaging job adverts and maximise our presence on social media and beyond.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with Professional Tutors, Headteachers, and candidates to ensure their recruitment needs are met effectively.

The role is based in Strood, Rochester, with the possibility of a Hybrid working. Hours are 37 per week, all year round, Monday- Friday. 

Our successful candidate will receive;

  • A starting salary of £28,297 per annum
